It is about people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I reflect on 25 years in the industry, there have been three consistently nourishing elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Great people, community, and the opportunity to serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this moment, I serve an amazing team. I try to lead a functional, focused, supportive, and enjoyable environment. Together, we work towards a common goal. A thriving community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exceptional hospitality demands the best of us. Emotional intelligence, humility, effective communication, problem solving, adaptability and teamwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It requires us to live in the moment, to be present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most importantly, we must be willing to serve, to place the needs of others before our own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hospitality professional is a career for the curious, the considerate, the self-aware, and the playful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also an ethos for a better life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just be hospitable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The origin of hospitality is to be hospitable.
